Privacy Policy
How we handle the information you share with us through this website.
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Who we are
This website, bojarvi.com, is operated by Bojarvi Accounting LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of FL, United States (“Bojarvi”, “we”, “us”). If you have any question about this policy, write to us at info@bojarvi.com.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. It does not cover the information you provide once you become a client: that is governed by your engagement agreement and by the rules described below, in the section on tax return information.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us and the minimum technical data needed to run the website:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, your message and your acceptance of this policy.
- Email: the information you include when you write to us.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider records basic data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages visited, for security and maintenance.
- Cookies: see our Cookie Policy.
Please do not send us Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, bank details or tax documents through the contact form or by ordinary email. If we work together, we will agree on a secure way to exchange them.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and give you the information you request.
- To prepare a proposal or an engagement, if you ask for one.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use the information you send us through this website for advertising, and we do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.
Tax return information
If you become a client, the information you provide for tax preparation or accounting services is subject to your engagement agreement and to the federal rules that apply to tax return preparers, including Section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code, which restricts the use and disclosure of tax return information without your consent, and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it:
- With service providers that help us run the website and our email, such as our hosting company, which may use it only to provide that service.
- When required by law, a court order or a government authority.
- To protect our rights, our clients or the security of the website.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and follow up, and for longer only when a law or a professional obligation requires it. After that, we delete or anonymize them.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send sensitive information through the form. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you when and as required by applicable law, including FL law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to give you access to the personal information you have sent us through this website, to correct it or to delete it, or to stop contacting you, by writing to info@bojarvi.com. If you live in a state or country that grants you additional privacy rights, you may exercise them the same way, and we will answer within the time the law requires.
Cookies and browser signals
Cookies and similar technologies are managed through the consent banner shown on your first visit. Our Cookie Policy explains which ones we use and why, and you can change your preferences from it at any time. We honor browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: when your browser sends them, non-essential cookies are not set.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors from outside the United States
We operate from the United States, and the information you send us is processed there in accordance with this policy and U.S. law.
Links to other websites
This website may link to other sites, such as those of government agencies. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will publish the new version on this page, with its update date at the top.
